Next Steps after Registration :
- Make sure you have Subscribe to the "dragoncaptains" email distribution list. You can subscribe by clicking here.
- Once you complete and submit the on-line Registration form, you will receive an acknowledgment email within 24 - 48 hours.
- We request that you send in your registration fee within 7-10 days after registration.
- When we have received your registration fee, you will receive an email with instructions on how to sign-up for your 3 training sessions for your team. A maximum of 3 training sessions for your team is included with your registration.
- Schedule your training sessions and communicate with your team members. Show up for your scheduled training sessions. Bring signed training waivers for each participating member to training. Each training faclility will need one completed training waiver from each participant. Youth teams must complete an additional Training Agreement.
- Complete and email supporting materials (team profiles, team pictures, team rosters, etc)
- Complete your training sessions and get ready to compete at the 2010 DC Dragon Boat Festival!!!
- Bring completed Festival Waivers (with copies of legal identification) and final Team Roster on Race-day Registration (May 15-16, 2010).
Training Waivers must be completed at the time of training -- Each participant must complete a Training Waiver before they can participate in festival training. These will be collected by the Training Organizers/Staff at time of training sessions at each training facility. Youth teams must complete an additional Training Agreement.

DC Dragon Boat Festival Waivers -- Each participant must complete a Festival Waiver to be collected by their team Captain. The Festival Waivers will be collected at pre-registration or race-day registration. Team Captains/Managers should collect all Festival waivers and copies of photo IDs from each crew member. Race-day registration will be open each morning of the Festival. Times will be announced soon.
Refund Policy:
Refund will be given to teams who withdraw on or before April 15th and have not started training, less a $50 administrative fee. A deduction of $200 per training session will be made if the team has attended some training sessions. No refund will be given for teams that withdraw after April 15th.
If for reasons beyond the Event organizer's control, the event is unable to take place, there will not be any roll-over of 2010 registration fess to future race dates.
No refund will be given if the race is canceled for reasons beyond the Event organizer’s control.
