If your team has already registered and the check has been received by the Festival Comittee, captains can sign up for practices.
When the team's check has been received the Practice Coordinator will send the captain an email with further instruction on how to register for practices.
All practice registration requests made before the team's check has been received will be ignored.
Registration for practices will be first come, first served.
Your team may select up to three [3] total practice sessions, but no more than one each from the Yellow and Orange Blocks.
Training sessions must be scheduled one [1] week in advance.
The calendar below is the official practice roster. Allow 24 hours for any practice registration request to be processed. The calendar is large so scrolling is needed to view it in its entirety.
Please Note:The times listed below are when the team should assemble, get their equipment and get ready to get in the boat. The water portion will start 30 minutes after the official start of practice. To reiterate, the teams should be all present or accounted for at the listed start time.
Note on Location: For the 2010 Festival, teams have the option to choose between two SEPERATE training sites:
The Anacostia Community Boat House [ACBA] (original training location)
-- Training provided by NCAWPA.
or
Gangplank Marina (new training location)
-- Training provided by DCDBC.
Training Cancellation Policy: Cancellation of a training session requires 48-hours’ advance notice. It is the team's responsibility to find a replacement session for any canceled session.
