Planning for the 2010 festival is underway, and we are currently lining up the venue and date. There was overwhelming interest in last year's festival, which sold out quickly and forced us to turn away many teams. We have since been exploring the use of other venues in DC which would allow us to expand the festival and allow more teams to participate.
We will send out news to the dragoncaptains list as soon as the details are firm. If you are not on the dragoncaptains mailing list, you can join by clicking on the link to the right.

Thank you to all the teams for your interest in the 2009 DC Dragon Boat Festival. We received an unprecedented amount of interest in the festival this year. Over 70 teams registered (over 1800 participants); we were forced to limit the number of teams to under 60 (1500 participants).
If we were unable to accomodate your team for this year's festival, we hope to see you next year!
